John Richard Marsh (O’Brien)

John loves to tell stories and has been a storyteller all his life. He wants to share them with his friends and fans. His background is not typical for an author. He has had careers in manufacturing, sales, commercial construction, mortgage brokering, and now as an author.

He enjoys being married to my wife for thirty-seven years and she still likes him. They have four children, four grand-children, and two great-grand-children. "What a blessed life I have been given," he says.

John and his production company, JRM Productions, share compelling stories so his readers will find more enjoyment in their lives, maybe even a change of heart.

John is a member of the Ventura County Writers Club and enjoys working with other authors. “Encourage the Craft” of writing is the moto of the club.

John is the author of three books: "The Book of John," "The Secret of Sunrise Mountain," and "Sunrise Ranch—A Search for Home." The last two are historical epics following the lives of one family through the generations as they travers the American Continent settling in Placer County, California with all the tragedies and hardships that accompany tough ranch life.
